What this tool does: Analyses historical NSE index data to show what returns investors earned when they entered at specific valuation levels (PE / PB ratios).
① Select Index — choose the index to analyse from the dropdown. Data updates automatically.
② PE / PB Sliders — drag the handles or type values directly to filter entry points by valuation range. Both filters apply together (AND logic).
③ Rolling Return Filter — optionally filter days where the past N-month return fell within a target band.
④ Return Summary — shows average, median, best/worst and distribution of forward returns (6M, 1Y, 2Y, 3Y) for matching days.
⑤ Trade History — full list of matching entry dates with actual forward returns. Use Export PDF to save.
